The Princess & the Warrior

A rather magical reprise from Run Lola Run director: Tom Twyker and actress Franke Potente. Again Twyker explores how fate intercedes in our lives in powerful and magical ways.
Franke plays Sissy, a nurse in a psychiatric ward, who has been there since childhood (her mother also was a nurse and her father still a patient). She administers to a crew that would make Nurse Fletcher proud…. One wackier than the next. One day while escorting a patient into the city, Sissy is hit by a truck and while lying under the vehicle she is slowly choking to death. Bodo who is running from the authorities ducks under the truck where he sees Sissy dying. He grabs a straw and performs a tracheotomy on the spot! Sissy lives and meditates on this odd twist of fate and goes to find Bodo. Franke is great as the innocent and naïve nurse, ever hopeful that the power of love will solve everything.
