| Lost Killers Directed by Dito Tsintsadze Viewed at the San Francisco International Film Festival A road movie with no road? Could be
. I have always been a big fan of films "shot from the hip" with a little docudrama trip! An interesting collection of characters from the bottom of the food chain
. We begin in the town of Mannheim Germany with: Lan, the diminutive Vietnamese prostitute without teeth, her Haitian martial arts boyfriend, Carlos, selling his kidney to pay their way to Australia. Also the neurotic Georgian hitman, Merab, and his Croatian partner Branco. They are all fighting their way up the ladder, doing almost anything to survive. The movie has a certain unsettling realism that made me a little uneasy
. I couldnt decide if I liked the characters or not --- they were quirky yet not that interesting but they were certainly encircled by the same social circles!
