Can a 45 year old man successfully date a 17 year old girl? I don't think so...
As only the French could explain it:
A philosophy professor (Martin) who is having some bouts of depression after his marriage breaks up, meets a juicy 17 year old girl (who had until recently been the love interest of a 60 year old artist, sexually obscessed to the point that it killed him).
Unfortunately, Cecelia is a 17 year old nymphomaniac and thinks like one or just doesn't think at all! She is simple, so simple that it begins to drive Martin nuts (and me)... All she can remember are her feelings but no details of events, she just doesn't care. Why the obsession? Even more pathetic is watching Martin trying to explain this strange obsession to his ex-wife... How nice for her!
