Making movies always should depend on a good story, whether it cost's you $1000 or a million dollars to tell it, and good acting won't save you! This film was shot in digital video and ultimately transferred to 35 mm and has a very active and tight documentary style. It is the story of a loser/loner construction worker and his friendship with two hookers... their trials and tribulations, yada, yada (tiny violins). Good ensemble acting, streamlined and honest. The cinematography is good looking and somewhat energetic but the main character is not particularly sympathetic and we've seen this story before!
