Kaputt Mundi
(L'ultimo capodanno)
Directed by Marco Risi

Happy holidays? Nope!
On this particular New Year’s Eve everyone seems headed for “Le Isole” a luxury apartment complex outside of Rome. A series of vignettes introduce the assorted “wacky” characters as they prepare for the new year.
Out with the old, in with the new…
Our cast of characters:
A woman trying to commit suicide after enduring 10 years away from her husband imprisoned in Cambodia, three thieves robbing an office and finding the owner tied-up in a bondage s+m scene, a young stud entertaining an older "Countess", a beautiful woman preparing a big feast and discovering her husband is sleeping with her best friend...and of course there is the punky, glue sniffing, dynamite toting interloper...oh, and the soccer team!
Yes a black comedy, some surreal scenes, kind of goofy and not much more..
Lightweight, distracting, almost entertaining, but where are the survivors?
